As Operations Manager I am managing the Dry Port Warehouses of H.Essers on the former Ford Genk site. It is my responsibility to optimize the organization (>100 FTE) by means of steering the teams, setting and following up on the goals, managing the P&L and maintaining the relationships with our customers.
As Project Engineer I am responsible for successfully managing projects. The projects involve (among others) building IT systems, building/re-designing warehouses, setting up logistic processes and deal with HR related activities. As the Engineering department of H. Essers, we strive for each new business to run successfully from day one whereby projects are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, timescales, budget and customer expectations. This outcome is the result of excellent involvement, teamwork and coordination across the different departments of our organization and our customer.
As a former ORMIT Management Trainee, I am now aware of my strengths as a professional. Additionally, I have gained experience in multiple domains (Project Management, Banking, IT, Finance, Business Process Modelling & Improvement, Performance Management, Digital Channels, Test Management, ...) By having joined the ORMIT Talents@Interim program as a Consultant, I gained experience and knowledge in my specific field of interest: Project Management. By being enrolled in the program, I took my personal development to the next level through a tailored development plan. This plan is aiming to contribute to the second level of the Leadership Pipeline and is thus focusing on managing projects and managing others.
By joing Ormit as a Management Trainee I was on a 26 month fast track to gather the knowledge and skills I'll need in my future professional career. [1st mission as Consultant - Talents@Interim] As Portfolio Coordinator I was tracking 5 major programs that aim at accommodating BNPPF’s Retail and Private Bank to the Digital World we live in today. More specifically, the following domains are covered: - Preparing channels for Remote Interactions (internally & externally) - Setting up a fully digital bank - Creating the future online banking platform for BNPPF’s customers - Setting up e-Intelligence - Fine-tuning the digital channels in use today It was my responsibility to follow up on & align budget, scope & timing of these different programs and to facilitate decision making by BNPPF’s senior management.
[3rd and final mission as an ORMIT Management Trainee] Managing a project initiated by the Director of the IT department. The "IT Quality" project has the ultimate goal to heighten the quality of products and services delivered by the IT department of the Brussels public transportation company. This goal is obtained by introducing and formalizing process-based working and by setting up a measurement system (KPI dashboard).
