Reporting to UBS Head of Enterprise Risk Management and responsible for implementing UBS’s SCR control framework incl. maintaining UBS’s SCR risk appetite / standards, establishing internal reporting and disclosure, integrating SCR into traditional risk management frameworks (credit, market, liquidity), monitoring and implementation of supervisory requirements and acting as UBS SCR Underwriter by overseeing SCR assessments and escalations of products, transactions, clients and supplier onboarding.

Reporting to UBS Head ESR and responsible for ESR framework, incl. assessments and escalations, training, reporting, operational risk, audits, and infrastructure (automation (UBS Franchise Award 2019), tools, data, vendors). Involved in establishing risk appetite and standards, and senior management updates. Development of framework and strategy in the Asia Pacific region. Engagement with clients, regulators (MAS, HKMA), NGOs, industry associations (ASIFMA, RSPO Financial Institutions Task Force (FITF)) and other initiatives (Belt and Road - Green Investment Principles). Reporting to UBS Head ESR and responsible for global ESR transaction decision and escalation process for the Investment Bank (IB), Wealth Management, Asset Management and Commodity Trade Finance. Contributing to UBS’ ESR strategy, framework and external disclosure. Groupwide lead for ESR training of first line of defense. IB Sustainability Program Management lead for the IB’s sustainability strategy on green finance (renewable energy and clean tech finance, green bonds), ESG research, equities structuring, and risk. In 2017 the IB strategy received The Banker award for the most innovative sustainability strategy in Investment Banking
Reporting to UBS Head ESR and responsible for global ESR transaction decision and escalation process for the IB. Training of corporate finance and advisory teams on UBS’ ESR framework. IB Sustainability Program Management lead for the IB’s sustainability strategy developing new reporting methodologies and metrics to track transition of IB portfolio and advance external disclosure
Development of UBS’s groupwide reporting and disclosure framework for Sustainable Investments covering institutional and private clients and development of new group wide sourcing policy to manage human rights, environmental and corruption risks
Development of branding and public appearance of newly founded institute, development of research agenda (focus on financial institutions and sustainable development; role of institutional investors in sustainable investing; role of business in human rights) and outreach program incl. events with Joseph Stiglitz, Rajendra Pachauri, Michael Jensen
