About

I hold a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, where I specialized in various space technologies, including rover systems, re-entry, orbital mechanics, and the design and production of aerospace vehicles. My master’s thesis at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) involved developing a structural satellite component, partly made from AM materials, which enhances the re-entry behavior of design-for-demise satellites. This work led to a filed patent and co-authorship in a publication. As a working student at DLR, I gained hands-on experience in thermal simulations, space test procedure protocols and runs, as well as designing and building ground support equipment for a rocket test launch. As a research assistant, I conducted over 500 numerical simulations of multiphase drop-drop collisions using a CFD code, and developed an automation process with Python and Excel that streamlined job creation and processing, boosting efficiency by 95%. My technical skills include MATLAB, Siemens NX, and Ansys, complemented by experience in 3D-printing and numerical simulation. Growing up in a bilingual family, along with my study abroad semester at the National Taiwan University, has sharpened my ability to adapt to multicultural environments and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Additionally, my internship at Porsche as well as my work at DLR have provided invaluable experience in working within a large corporate structure, where I learned the importance of teamwork and coordination.
