I am currently assuming a leadership role in clinical oncology working to provide optimal regional care for cancer patients. I am also a dedicated physician scientist with a passion for translational research, focused on bridging the gap between innovative diagnostics and therapeutic strategies and their clinical applications. My goal is to enhance patient care through impactful clinical solutions.
Collaboration with Prof. Nicola Aceto using patient derived circulating tumor cells (CTCs) to elucidate targetable molecular features, with the goal to develop metastasis-directed therapies. Developing liquid biopsy technologies for the detection and analysis of CTCs. Designing clinical trials to translate these findings towards cancer patient applications.
