Design Engineer (Haircare) | Sept 2023 – Nov 2024 • Engineered innovative attachment assemblies for haircare products, focusing on rapid design, prototyping, and testing of plastic components within Dyson’s New Product Development Team. • Played a key role in the mechanical design and development of the Dyson Airstrait PRCD (Portable Residual Current Device) plug, emphasising robustness and mechanical reliability.
Student Research Assistant (Tribology Study on Metal Restoration Alternatives) | Apr 2023 – Aug 2023 • Performed Accelerated Life Tests (ALT) on alternatives for Metal Restoration. • Utilised Bruker High-precision surface profilers & Artec Space Spyder 3D Scanners for tribology studies.
Student Research Assistant (Project Motivate) | Apr 2021 – Apr 2023 • Designed and fabricated rehabilitation straps for stroke survivors and individuals with spinal cord injury. • Collaborated closely with professors, physiotherapists and stroke survivors to improve the product’s design and functionality.
Design Engineering Intern (Haircare) | Aug 2022 – Apr 2023 • Assisted the team in designing and testing of water ingress sealing technology of the Dyson Airstrait. • Supported the conceptualisation and development of the diffuser Snap design of the Dyson Airstrait. • Designed and constructed Jigs for Automated Accelerated Life Testing to ensure the reliability of buttons on the Dyson Airstrait.
Assistant Engineer & Technical Co-ordinator | Nov 2019 - Aug 2020 • Certified Shipyard Safety Supervisor. • Certified Risk Assessment team leader. • Assisted in the overhaul of Hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders. • Incharge of documentations, inspection and service reports • Experience in working at the Shipyard and onboard vessels • Assist in the design process and laying of Hydraulic pipelines onboard vessels
