Alex is a Lead Partner in the Energy, Natural Resources and Chemicals Businesses practice of KPMG’s Philadelphia Office and has over 25 years experience in auditing energy, chemical, consumer and industrial markets companies. Professional and Industry Experience Alex has extensive accounting and auditing experience serving as the day-to-day liaison between various clients and KPMG, identifying and researching complex U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting issues, coordinating and managing all aspects of the audit process. Alex has managed several global audits of large clients in the Philadelphia area. Core strengths and accomplishments include: • As a member of the Regional Professional Practice Network, key responsibilities included assisting engagement teams with consultations, supporting teams during PCAOB and internal reviews, providing guidance on new accounting literature, assisting with local office trainings, and raising awareness of professional practice matters. • Served a variety of public companies including a multinational gas distribution company, multiple Fortune 500 Energy Companies, multiple renewable energy companies and multi-national chemical companies. • Experienced in coordinating with international KPMG offices to serve multinational clients. • Experienced in auditing the conversion of US GAAP based Companies to IFRS. • Assisted clients with various SEC filings, including comfort letters and consents related to stock and debt offerings.
