With over six years of experience in chemical engineering research and education, I am driven by a passion for advancing material science innovation. My PhD research at the University of Florida focused on chemical synthesis of semiconductor materials for photovoltaics and optoelectronic applications. As a dedicated mentor and safety advocate, I developed comprehensive guidelines and trained students in experimental and analytical methods, fostering a collaborative and secure lab environment. At the University of Florida, I contributed to pioneering research by designing specialized experimental equipment, such as an induction furnace and air-free reactor tube system. My skills in inorganic synthesis, SEM, and powder X-ray diffraction were pivotal in the development of advanced materials. As a lab safety manager, I ensured adherence to safety protocols, empowering the team to achieve results while prioritizing well-being.
