I've spent the first part of my professional life trying to understand how systems work and why they fail. Reporting from Central Eastern Europe about politics, economics and entrepreneurship. Well, one day in February 2022 I decided to start building better ones. Not for countries, but for people who change how countries work. For entrepreneurs, innovation managers and investors that want to create positive impact. That's why I started the Public Value Hub, a non-profit that builds the infrastructure for purpose-driven entrepreneurship. 👩🎓Public Value Academy, a modular education program for impact founders across Germany. 🌎 Social Impact Republic, an European ecosystem for startups that solve social challenges with high-tech solutions. 🛠️ Inluma, an impact intelligence platform that makes positive outcomes measurable, comparable and investable. Together with partners like UnternehmerTUM, Founders Foundation, Unisphere Innovation Campus, and appliedAI Institute for Europe, we work on creating solutions that build better systems: from GreenTech and EdTech to GovTech and DemocracyTech. Because impact stays marginal as long as it stays anecdotal. The moment it becomes structured and data-driven, it becomes a decision-making tool: for investors, for institutions, and for policy. The conviction behind all of it: people build systems, systems change the lives of people. And entrepreneurship is the mindset that makes this change tangible and executable. That's what I want to talk about — with founders, with investors, with policy-makers, with you. And yes, I'll use occasional railway metaphors, football tactic boards, and Star Trek references to prove my point. Let's do it together.
