I started as Software Engineer in the R&D-Department for product POLEXPERT which is an Advanced Process Control System using different technologies as Expert Systems (GENSYM G2), Fuzzy Controllers, Adaptive State Controllers, specialized filtering technologies for use in optimizing processes in the Cement and Mining Industy including the following types of machines: kilns, high pressure grinding roller mills, ball mills, roller mills, coolers. My task included maintenance of the POLEXPERT system as well as engineering and commissioning to adapt the system to the different customer specifications and needs. In my current position I provide process functional descriptions on all kind of machines and processes to enable our customers for programming of their control systems. This includes support and trouble shooting during all phases of a project as well as factory acceptance tests from office or on site.
