CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES - - •Oversee and manage all aspect of visuals and merchandising for company wide fleet- 28 retail locations. •Partner with VP/Creative Director/Visual Director, along with home office executive partners to ensure all project and company initiatives are addressed and on target. •Facilitate frequent communication between corporate visual team and various partners, internal and external. •Interpret needs for company as a whole to identify best practices in VM dept. •Special projects, as assigned by Director of Visuals. FLOORSETS-Windows & Interiors: •Assist in conceive of, design and execute create and compelling window and interior storytelling elements across all areas of the company. •Research, identify and facilitate the procurement of window and interior storytelling elements. •Partner with the team members on bi-weekly floor-set executions. •Develop clear installation guidelines for fleet wide rollouts of windows and interiors. •Using market presentations as a reference, develop and execute seasonal in store presentations. •Manage/oversee store photo submission reviews and feedbacks to ensure all talent is being trained and developed while tracking store execution performance to meet company expectations. •Learn and maintain expertise about the unique features of all stores; utilize knowledge of store shopping patterns and layouts to create compelling fixture/prop/product placement. INTERNAL: •Manage communication between accounts, production, creative partners and stores. •Gather and create style outs using seasonal product, brand vision concepts and marketing initiatives as a point of departure. •Partner closely with Director of Visuals, VPs, and Creative Director to develop plans for internal presentations including overall thematic development and seasonal prop acquisition. •Manage photography archive of visual dept. work. •Assit in visual budget management.
•Create, execute, implement, and maintain compelling window displays and interior visual merchandising for all mall store locations. •Partner with the Creative Director and other executive team leaders to create bi-monthly visual merchandising initiative. •Photograph visual initiatives and implement through company-wide directives (InDesign). •Manage communication with stores before/after store-sets to ensure visual presentations are executed to company standards and expectations •Partner with merchants to create floor plans/maps for all stores to follow, based off visual directives and product flow. •Partner with stores proactively, be an available resource for all visual issues. •Coach and develop stores across the country to standardize visual merchandising efforts. •Bridge the gap in communication between stores and Home Office by effectively communicating visual, written, and verbal instructions with attention to detail. •Partner with District Managers to ensure all business needs are met on a store-by-store basis. STORE VISITS: •Evaluate the visual standards, determining if the store's visual presentation meet company expectations and ensure store is set to the directive. •Use checklist as a tool in order to identify the areas of opportunity for each store, understand training needs, and continue to track the progression and elevation of visual merchandising standards. •Check for proper marketing signage, merchandise, shelving, and fixture placements in stores. •Check cleanliness, lights, equipment, and organization of back stock/under stock. •Further develop and train visual point person and store staff in VM skills.
Manage the operational execution of the store to ensure positive customer experiences. • Reviews and analyze current and past sales reports with a focus to increase sales volume – create action plans. • Focus on specific division of responsibility to build the brand, build capability, and build talent. • Established brand development and grew with company from 3 stores to 30 stores. • Coach behaviors, develop, and maximize the success of all associates. • Maintain policies and procedures. • Set examples of enthusiasm, integrity, commitment and passion for brand development. • Stockroom organization and maintenance, ensuring that all shipment is documented, processed, and organized efficiently. • Inspect and supervise maintenance in-store and keeping a detailed maintenance log. • Lead and executed visual merchandising on a day-to-day basis while assisting surrounding stores upon request. • Manage controllable expenses and protect store assets. • Lead consistent focus on delivering an intimate customer experience while establishing the highest possible customer satisfaction. • Ensure all customers are greeted, thanked, and helped by maintaining appropriate employee zone coverage. • Monitor external and internal loss by being aware of all merchandise in store and assisting associates on loss prevention knowledge.
