Lead detail design and development of hydraulic components for nuclear submarines
- Supported fundamental scientific research into hydrogen combustion experiments related to pre-ignition - Researched, designed, prototyped, and implemented a tight tolerance part that was used inside a research combustion engine while considering geometric tolerances and finite element analysis to achieve a suitable factor of safety - Created a MATLAB script to process large amounts of data to characterize the temperature distribution of a heated surface to develop a better understanding of the pre-ignition propensity of hydrogen under various conditions - Aided various laboratory upgrades and projects such as high flow gas installation, existing engine component CAD modeling, and streamlining existing hardware systems to be easily changed from experiment to experiment - Presented research findings to the broader scientific community at intern symposium
Worked on a 12 story hotel near Union Square in the heart of San Francisco. While working on the project team I was responsible for tasks including writing, reviewing, and submitting RFI's and submittals. In addition, other responsibilities, tasks, and experiences I took the lead of were: -Worked with experienced individuals to learn fundamental construction concepts -Learned how to use and apply Bluebeam Ruvu, and Navisworks in writing contractual documents -Facilitated field coordination that involved subcontractors -Assembled and distributed OAC meeting report and took part in OAC meetings -Distribute RFI and Submittal responses to the greater project team -Helped in the organization of RFI and Submittal log
-Researched, sketched and designed in SolidWorks a semi autonomous healthcare robot that is being prepared to be sold -Aided in improving design of electric trike and other small design projects utilizing CAD software
