Set-up and management of the company-wide IT department, consisting of teams for IT infrastructure & support, application management and data & analytics with the following main areas of activity. Infrastructure & support: Establishment of a company-wide service desk with a dedicated software, corresponding processes and roles. Identification and management of measures to improve the IT-infrastructure and -security. Application management: Management of a major company-wide project for migrating the company's core process software. Planning and managing various software implementation projects within the company. Data & Analytics: Initiation of a data warehouse as central data platform. Planning and management of BI/reporting requirements. Creation of a company-wide data strategy. Initiating a data governance initiative with the aim of using data more efficiently within the company. Data protection & information security: Development of a data protection management system as well as planning audits in cooperation with external consultants. Coordination of awareness training and penetration tests. Definition of IT security guidelines and standards. Training of internal employees on GDPR and IT security guidelines. General tasks: Supplier management, contract management, budgeting, controlling and staff management.
