Collaborate with staff across ANDE's eight regional chapters spanning Latin America, Africa, and Asia to support direct fundraising efforts. This includes managing the pipeline of all current and future funding opportunities, tracking donor outreach and engagement, and overseeing all aspects of proposal development from start to submission. Supported the planning and execution of ANDE's flagship event, the Global Annual Conference, which was held in Mexico in 2025. The 2025 conference welcomed nearly 200 attendees hailing from 30 different countries and representing over 100 organizations. Participating organizations included World Wildlife Fund, Kiva, Shell, Visa, J.P. Morgan, Dalberg, Habitat for Humanity, Stanford Graduate School of Business, the University of Michigan, and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Collaborated with subject matter experts in the environment, health, and governance sectors to develop and operationalize proposals for high value and high priority USAID contracts ($10M – $100M+). These proposals addressed key global development topics including water security, sanitation, and hygiene, urban climate resilience, climate finance, global health supply chain and pharmaceutical management, local governance, and public financial management. Supported proposal development by writing past performance references, drafting management sections, assisting with budget creation, conducting technical and cost research, and managing consultant agreements. Ensured team preparedness for upcoming proposals through prepositioning efforts and database management, and guaranteed that all proposals submitted to USAID were contractually compliant, responsive, and competitive. In 2023, spent three weeks in the Philippines meeting with government agenies, civil society organizations, and private sector actors to gather information and strategize about an upcoming USAID biodiversity conservation project.
Developed strategic employment plans for approximately 100 refugee and humanitarian immigrant clients. Cultivated new and supported existing employer partnerships to secure jobs for clients, address the hiring needs of local businesses and promote IRC’s mission. In FY 2022, IRC's Baltimore office had the 8th highest number of job placements (198) out of all 25 Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration (RAI) offices operating in the United States. Monitored client job performance to foster sustainable employer-employee relationships and tracked income to determine economic self-sufficiency. Collaborated with staff and external community partners to identify and address barriers to self-sufficiency. Produced client success stories for fundraising and development efforts, reported on client progress for state and federal grantors, and developed expense reports for IRC’s finance team.
Supported management of a federal grant focused on early economic self-sufficiency by providing employment readiness support to eligible clients and reporting on their progress to ensure compliance. Surveyed 50+ clients to monitor their wellbeing, identify their needs and connect them to support services. Identified program challenges based on survey results, devised solutions to strengthen services and presented the findings to management.
Analyzed video advertisements of pharmaceutical brands to evaluate their effectiveness in terms of patient engagement. Researched trends in client’s media spending and recorded changes to client’s prescribing information. Developed and presented a summary report of effective product marketing strategies and detailed storyboards of client advertisements to executive management.
