I am a writer, sound designer, and co-creator of the audio drama podcast Greater Boston. I teach college-level creative writing, with experience developing courses related to comics and graphic novels, audio drama, and other media. I have also co-authored two textbooks: Character Design for Graphic Novels, and Comics: A Global History, 1968 to the Present. ElfQuest, by Wendy & Richard Pini, was published from 1978 – 2018, and is one of the most influential independent comics series of its time. The audio adaptation features a celebrity cast lead by veteran voice actress Cree Summer.
Co-produce a serial, full-cast audio drama, including scripting, recording, editing, and sound design. Collaborate with co-creator, as well as more than 100 actors, musicians, staff writers, and recording technicians. Maintain a seasonal broadcast schedule since show launch in March, 2016. Greater Boston is an award-winning bi-monthly audio drama that blends the real and the unreal, the historical and the fantastical, where the streets of Boston's North End are still sticky from the great molasses flood, Wonderland is still a sketchy amusement park, and the MBTA's Red Line might just secede to form its own independent municipality. Greater Boston is a creative project born of passion for storytelling and the possibilities of contemporary audio narrative.
