Engineering lead on multiple late stage compounds. - Coordinate activities of engineering team with overall API team - Process development and optimization targeted to improving quality, yield and productivity - Leading tech transfer activities to commercial site - Working with CMOs and guiding process development activities to support future filing - Leading risk assessment teams - Define process design space, critical process controls and filing strategy for late stage drugs
Primary responsabilities are the design, developement and scale up of API chemical processes from the bench-top to manufacturing scale. Skills include developing kinetic and thermodynamic models of various unit operations, developing API crystallizations to control physical properties, and cost modelling of API process.
