Manage and report daily banking book FX exposure, and led the design and implementation of an FX enhancement plan across the branch. Oversee crisis management and SMMD regulatory reporting, ensuring robust controls and timely delivery. Produce MI to strengthen balance sheet management reporting and enhance Treasury’s internal control and governance frameworks.
PM for the UK branch of a major G-SIB to ensure compliance with FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme) legislation. Led the successful design and implementation of a full FSCS governance framework, presenting progress in bi-weekly operational committees to C-suite. Redesigned the SCV reporting process, which received the highest grading by the PRA in an SCV compliance assessment Re-engineered the FX risk management process of a major G-SIB to enhance the monitoring, management and control of its FX exposure. As a result, the client had significantly improved visibility and traceability over their exposure, enhancing management and risk control.
