About

PhD with 11 years experience in the development of active pixel sensors. Skilled in the test and simulation of prototype devices as well as the design and operation of detector systems for their test. Deep knowledge of Silicon sensor physics, sensor characterization and X-ray spectroscopy. Working on the development of cutting edge detector systems for applications in next generation scientific experiments. During my PhD I worked on the development of prototype sensors for the future X-ray observatory Athena. After switching to the semiconductory of the Max-Planck-Society I worked in the development and test of a novel sensor concept for high precision polarimetry proposed for the European Solar Telescope.
