Project delivery for multi-utility & major projects.
Delivery of projects ranging from 400V to 11kV off the existing DNO & IDNO networks in LPN & EPN, providing new electrical infrastructure for housing projects for DNO & IDNO adoption.
Working from tender stage of projects through to planning and completion. Designing electrical projects ranging from 400v to 11kV on residential, commercial & industrial builds. Self-determining points of connection whilst considering cable sizing, fuse types & ratings, substation/ transformer selection, diversion of existing substations and cabling. Designing approved drawings for construction, determining the voltage drop and impedance conform to industry standards followed by the purchasing of package substations
Working on commercial sites, offices and shops supervising a small team, Design & Installation of 3-phase distribution boards and circuits. Cable sizing, fuse type, ratings & cable runs. Electrak power, data and lighting design.
Maintenance of communal electrical work, with repairs and replacements of electrical equipment and fittings, Maintaining the AHU's supplying the kitchen/ restaurant area and hot water supplies, changing belts, contactors, fuses & elements. Maintenance of water tanks, heating elements and completion of routine PPMs. Managing other contractors brought in for various tasks, assisting with industrial and passenger lift breakdowns & repairs.
Working on circuits within a sensitive environment where lifesaving equipment was in constant use, Response times which meant occasionally working under pressure and being a team player, PPM’s on the fire alarm system, emergency lighting & back-up generators, Work on general lighting and power supplies as well as, three-phase pumps, motors and contactors
Working as a team on large commercial projects such as hospitals, nurseries, factories and flats, Also carried out installations for the fire alarm systems, intercom systems and servers, Installing large 3-phase consumer boards with a high level of presentation. Learning and adapting of how electrical work in Norway differs to the work in the UK.
