The Securities Arbitration Clinic is a not-for profit organization that provides pro-bono legal assistance to small claim New York investors who cannot obtain legal representation in disputes with their broker dealers.
Conduct legal research and observe attorneys at negotiations and pre-conference hearings. Shadow daily activities of attorneys and attend meetings. Provide support with motions, correspondence, and other materials in preparation for hearings. Draft memoranda on various issues regarding employee organization rights. Assist attorneys by performing mock negotiations.
Shadowed day to day activities of attorneys and paralegals at firm. Provided support to attorneys in connection with preparation of materials for trial. Assisted with client correspondence, organized medical bills and reports in personal injury cases. Observed attorneys at trial and conducted research for personal injury cases.
