Full time Supervisor UPS (United Parcel Service)
• Manage 100+ full time employees and part time supervisors/ employees in UPS operations in the Charlotte area, ensuring timely delivery of over 90,000 packages daily. • Dispatched, developed and optimized driver routes to reduce costs and minimize time on the road, all while maintaining excellent customer service and on-time delivery standards. •Administer UPS policies, procedures, employment laws, contractual agreements. Oversee HR administration including policy compliance, employee relations, safety programs, payroll, and talent development; lead employee training and onboarding to enhance workforce engagement and performance. •Experienced in succession planning, employee recognition programs, and strategies that drive team member engagement and retention.
The temporary part-time supervisor impacts the organization by administering and communicating UPS policies, procedures and programs in several of the following areas: employment, employee communication, safety, reporting and record keeping, training etc. Lead basic training programs and/or orientation seminars. Assisted in basic research requests made by our management team.
