I am a highly-motivated J.D. graduate of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, awaiting admission to the Arizona State Bar, having passed the July 2022 Bar Exam. I have a passion for many areas of the law and seek legal employment in government, business, or litigation. My experience includes work in both the public sector and private industry, I served as an Extern in the Elections Division of the Arizona Department of State, and completed summer internships with the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General's Office and with ASU's Office of General Counsel. During Spring 2021, I worked in the Innovation Advancement Clinic as a Rule 38 Certified Limited Practice Student, advising and assisting businesses with formation, initial public offerings, compliance work, and addressing other business concerns. From Spring 2020 until May 2022, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for professors in the Law School's Masters of Legal Studies Program. During my undergraduate study at Barrett the Honors College, as an ASU Capital Scholar I gained unique political experience through a full-time internship with a boutique lobbying firm in Washington, DC. Under the mentorship of the firm’s partners, I was privileged to work with and on behalf of the firm’s diverse, international clientele. Upon returning to ASU, I accepted a full time leadership position with my college fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), where I managed an annual budget of roughly a quarter of a million dollars, ran professional education and development programs, and conducted a philanthropic venture that raised a significant sum for the fraternity's national charity. Through my undergraduate honors thesis, I conducted a sustainability investigation into the future of nuclear power in the United States. I have additional employment experience as a financial analyst for an international trust company, and as a sales representative for a national company. My education and employment experiences have given me a strong and diverse skill set that I look forward to applying in all of my future career endeavors.
Awaiting admission to the State Bar of Arizona after passing the July 2022 AZ Bar Exam
Under the supervision of the State Election Director, responsibilities included legal research and writing on federal and state election issues such as voter registration, campaign finance, military and overseas voting, redistricting, initiative and referendum, lobbying, and candidate filings; monitor and review of pending election litigation and federal legislation, and review of state legislation that will impact election law in Arizona.
Worked as a Teaching Assistant for professors in the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law's Masters of Legal Studies Program, assisting faculty in administering the course discussion boards, grading submissions, and providing feedback and assistance to students pursuing their MLS degree. Through this position I increased my knowledge on a variety of interesting legal topics, having served as a TA for courses including Administrative Law (SDO 511); Human Resources and Employment Law (SDO 598); Arbitration (SDO 545); Conducting Fact-Based Investigations (SDO 598); Criminal Procedure; Negotiations; Business and Sports Management (SDO 556); and Negotiations and Dispute Management (SDO 535).

As an intern with the Civil Rights Division, I assist attorneys in enforcing State statutes prohibiting discrimination in employment, voting, public accommodations, disability, and housing. For several cases currently in litigation, I drafted motions, subpoenas, and other pleadings; I wrote legal memoranda for several matters currently under investigation or in mediation or ADR, including a research project for newly-enacted legislation regarding civil sex trafficking claims.
