I am an integrator and systems enabler with a deep commitment to fostering economic resilience in vulnerable communities and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a social entrepreneur, I work alongside fellow changemakers to create impact that is both sustainable and scalable. With a background in occupational therapy, I have developed a perspective that helps me understand the dynamic interaction of person, environment, and occupation factors. This foundation has guided me in identifying challenges and designing practical, context-based solutions. Building on this experience, I collaborated with my family to transform our fashion and manufacturing business into a social enterprise—one rooted in the principles of decent work, poverty alleviation, and the triple bottom line. In my role at Bayan EDGE, I have the privilege of leading a team dedicated to bridging the financing gap for social enterprises. Together, we develop tailored interventions to support their growth and long-term sustainability.
