To deliver a professional contracts negotiation drafting and advice service in respect of contracts with third party suppliers of goods and services. To ensure HSBC’s business and operational strategies and initiatives are facilitated in a timely manner.
Areas of practice include foreign direct investment, corporate mergers and acquisitions, cross-border business transaction, FIE corporate matters, corporate compliance, labor and employment, and dispute resolution.
• Oversaw all contracts for Asian countries including client, supplier and employment agreements. • Dealt with company’s key clients to clarify and negotiate contractual issues; handled employee disputes; managed in-country licensing issues. • Trained over 50 directors and managers on contractual principles pertaining to terms and conditions.
• Reviewed contracts for Asian countries including business agreements, supplier agreements and employment agreements; drafted legal documents and contract templates. • Participated critical projects and transactions in Asia including M&A deals, real-estate transactions and direct investments. • Provided legal support including advisory on compliance issues under local laws, and handling disputes with clients and employees.
