Alexander E. Sendrowitz is a partner with the firm, concentrating in the areas of general civil litigation, state and federal court practice, business and commercial litigation and municipal defense. Significant to his success, Mr. Sendrowitz prides himself on his commitment to clients, ensuring they remain apprised of all developments through every step of the legal process. His ability to zealously advocate for his clients while remaining measured and objective sets him apart. The multi-disciplinary nature of Mr. Sendrowitz’s practice strengthens his value to his clientele. Mr. Sendrowitz represents and counsels the firm’s business and commercial clients on a broad range of transactional matters including entity formation, contracts, purchase and sale and as general counsel. Mr. Sendrowitz regularly represents his clients in a variety of litigation matters including breach of contract, business disputes and tort claims. He likewise represents the firm’s municipal clients in matters involving tort claims, negligence, civil rights litigation, § 1983 claims and constitutional violations. Additional areas of practice include defense and prosecution of landlord-tenant matters, surrogate court matters and guardianship proceedings and support for the firm’s matrimonial practice group in complex divorce actions involving business asset analysis, discovery and evaluation. Mr. Sendrowitz received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2015 after graduating from Baruch College in 2012. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2016, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in August 2017 and September 2017, respectively. An active member within the legal community, he is a member of the Suffolk County, Nassau County, New York State and American Bar Associations.
