Responsible for national distribution operations across multiple Nestlé businesses and categories in Switzerland, covering diverse routes-to-market (retail, wholesale, pet-care channels and healthcare distribution). Providing market-level governance of 3PL operations and transport activities in partnership with the regional hub, ensuring service performance, cost efficiency and operational continuity. Scope includes a distribution spend of >15 MCHF under governance, line management responsibility, and accountability for performance management and continuous improvement across warehousing and transportation networks, as well as long-term warehousing strategy and future network development, including oversight of strategic tendering initiatives. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and commercial teams, to support customer-focused service initiatives. Country lead for a transport planning and execution transformation, coordinating Swiss business requirements with European central teams and logistics partners. Delivered double-digit efficiency improvements across defined distribution flows. Member of the GLEN (Global Logistics Experts Network) for Zone Europe since 2022, acting as workshop lead on efficiency and cost-improvement initiatives across European factories and distribution centers, leveraging supply chain transformation and project management expertise together with multilingual communication across markets.
Progressively evolved from technical project engineering to end-to-end CAPEX project management, leading a multi-project automation and end-of-line logistics portfolio (projects up to 5 MCHF) and acting as owner of the factory logistics masterplan, ensuring alignment and integration across initiatives. Held end-to-end ownership of the CAPEX lifecycle, from business case and budget estimation to design, vendor selection, cost control, commissioning and validation, with governance through steering committees and executive reporting. Delivered factory transformation programs across warehouse and production flows, including AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) implementations, hygiene-segregation upgrades, optimization of palletizers and packaging lines, and civil and structural works in coordination with local authorities, translating business needs into operational solutions in a highly regulated infant-nutrition manufacturing environment.
