I am engaged in a social and scientific process based on dialogue using a broad range of tools and methods that seek to create change at different levels towards a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
• Developing and implementing circular economy programme strategy in line with WWF-Kenya’s 10-year strategic plan and Kenya’s Green Economy vision • Contributing to policy processes locally and globally. • Organizing high-level international study tours for senior public and private sector officials • Supporting the private sector-led Kenya Plastics Pact and forging strategic partnerships • Co-chairing the Mombasa Solid Waste Technical Working Group • Monitoring circular economy trends through socio-economic and policy lens • Coordinating capacity-building for plastic recycling stakeholders • Collaborating with government, WWF colleagues across the network and conservation groups for circular economy promotion • Participating in innovation initiatives • Preparing and presenting technical and financial reports of the programme • Supervising a team of 4 involved in projects on extended producer responsibility and marine ecosystem conservation • Designing and developing funding proposals

Support efforts towards collaboration for action among the key stakeholders (Government, Private Sector, Non-state actors) in the plastic value chain in the County of Mombasa and the greater Coastal Kenya.
Lead: UN Environment Programme and Co-lead: Akatu Institute This Working Group aims to build a critical mass of engagement within and across different sectors to raise awareness and engage consumers on product lifetime extension. The overarching aim is to bring together practitioners and policy makers and push progress towards product lifetime extension policies and practices worldwide.
