I am the creator of the YABT, an educational project leveraging the RavenDB database and accompanied by a series of articles explaining various aspects of building bespoke enterprise apps with NoSQL. I suggested the project to bridge a big gap in RavenDB's marketing of its product to developers. After selling the idea to their CEO, I implemented all the aspects of the project — from design to the back-end and front-end code—and then wrote articles covering all the difficult aspects. All this was done in my spare time (mostly weekends). Took on a brownfield project with an established team of 7 devs and 3 testers. Main objective - put the development on track and deliver a lot of functionality against tight deadlines.
Brought a new company's product from an idea to a commercial solution. I started the project and have gone from creating the Project Charter, then epics and stages with evaluated time frames to implementing a scalable and reliable solution. After building a team (hired devs, UI designer, BA, etc.) and setting the development on track I shifted to the Team/Tech Lead role.
In charge of bringing software development back in-house. Took over the remote team, built a new dev team, streamlined the dev processes (e.g. build CI/CD pipeline) and did lots of coding.
In charge of software development in a big R&D department. Responsible for designing and delivering in time multiple projects. Worked closely with managers and customers, collaborated with other in-house and overseas development teams, delivered highly reliable and maintainable code, hired/interviewed dozens of developers (in Australia and overseas), mentored and assisted other developers.
