This position involved processing and determining planning applications for Dartmoor National Park in Devon. It required understanding of architectural drawings and the application of the National Planning Policy Framework, the General Permitted Development Rights Order, and the DNPA planning policy documents. Through this process site visits had to be conducted, relevant stakeholders had to be contacted and public enquiries had to be addressed.
This position involved working with the waste management and street services department to create a live data management system with mapping capabilities for scheduling work rounds. As a secondary objective, I am mapping the greenspaces and trees of Plymouth so they can managed as assets and reported on.
