Report to European Sector Director –Health Sciences. Manager of 150 direct reports. •Business Development Lead -of all Chemistry and Environmental business development throughout the UK •Project Director -for major projects throughout the United Kingdom. •Technical Lead and European Representative -on Exova’s Global Environmental Technical Forum. Provide technical support, method development and best practice. Provide technical lead and support to individual laboratories and during major projects. •Positions also held: General Manager –Environmental, Technical Manager, BD Manager.
Report to MD –Health Sciences. Manager of 150 direct reports across 7 UK sites. •Operations Responsibility -for the overall operation of seven Environmental and Chemistry laboratories located across the United Kingdom. •European Technical Manager –on all matters relating to environmental chemistry and environmental legislation. Coordinator of internal environmental due diligence during acquisitions, divestments and closures. •Project Director and Technical Lead -for major environmental and chemistry projects throughout the United Kingdom. Provide technical support and expert witness services, both internally and externally, to various clients and industries. •P&L Responsibility -for all Environmental and Chemistry laboratories across the United Kingdom. Responsible for the delivery of budgets, sales targets, KPIs, and people planning for the Environmental Department and Chemistry function across the UK. •Business Development Lead -for all Environmental and Pharmaceutical testing functions throughout Europe. Responsible for Key Account Management in the UK. •Positions also held: European Technical Director, Business Development Director Environmental and Pharmaceutical, Bodycote internal Health Sciences board member (concurrent) and UKAS Technical Manager and Quality Manager (concurrent).
Report to MD/Chairman. Manager of 50 staff. •Operations Responsibility –for laboratories including Environmental, Chemistry, Microbiology and Metallogy testing located in Glasgow. Development of company from start-up in 1984 to sale to Bodycote in 1998. Operations included testing on a Local, Regional and International scale. •Director on Executive Board. •UKAS Technical Manager and UKAS Quality Manager -Provide technical lead and support. •P&L Responsibility -for all Environmental and Chemistry laboratories across the United Kingdom. Responsible for the delivery of budgets, sales targets, KPIs, and people planning for the laboratory.
