With over 25 years of experience, I am a seasoned executive leader and entrepreneur with a passion for new business development, strategy, and start-ups. I am currently the Managing Partner at The Larry H. Miller Company, a diversified group of businesses that includes real estate, sports + entertainment, senior health, and investments. I am driven by the mission of enriching lives and giving back to the communities we serve. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having co-founded and led a successful SPAC, served as President of a leading publicly traded smart home company, and co-founded a leading publicly traded residential renewable energy company. Prior to joining The Larry H. Miller Company, I was the Co-Founder and CEO of ENPC, a partnership among prominent business executives and former Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, that successfully merged with Granite Ridge, a leading non-operating Oil & Gas platform. I leveraged my skills to raise over $400 million in an IPO on the NYSE and establish a strong network of investors and partners, and conduct extensive due diligence and negotiations. Before that, I founded a search fund that invested in Vivint. I joined the company as President and board director. I grew Vivint into the leading Smart Home Company in North America, brought on Blackstone as our equity sponsor, and took it public. I also co-founded Vivint Solar, spun it out of Vivint SmartHome, and helped it grow into a leading residential renewable energy company, and took it public. I created more than $10 billion of enterprise value from the original search fund investment.
Executive Network Partnering Corporation ("ENPC") was formed as a partnership among Paul Ryan, as Chairman, who served as the 54th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Solamere Capital, a private equity firm anchored by its network of leading business executives, including former chief executive officers of S&P 500 companies (the "Solamere Network"), and Alex Dunn, as CEO, who has served in various senior operating roles at several businesses where he helped grow shareholder value, most recently as President of Vivint SmartHome (NYSE: VVNT). It was established for the purpose of identifying a company to partner with in order to effectuate a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar partnering transaction with one or more businesses.
