United Kingdom
A motivated undergraduate university student seeking a placement position for my third year. I am currently a second-year student, studying an Accountancy and Finance degree at Oxford Brookes University, where I gain extensive insight from lecturers who have worked in the industry. I am eager to apply my current financial and analytical knowledge, while further developing my skills and deepening my understanding through advanced academic study in the ACCA qualification and becoming an International CharteredAccountant (ICAEW). As a hardworking, reliable, and motivated student, I have an unyielding desire to achieve high standards for independent and team-based work. I am personable, enthusiastic and willing to learn, with excellent communication and analytical skills, together with a keen eye for detail.
I developed essential client-facing skills, enabling me to represent myself and an organisation effectively in both virtual and in-person settings. I gained valuable insight into UK tax legislation and the skills required for advising owner-managed businesses with their tax strategies.
During my internship at Courtiers, I was taught many valuable skills on complex algorithms such as Bloomsburg. This enables me to analyse up-to-date markets and preview data from worldwide markets. This led me to further my knowledge on investing as well as learn more about my possible desires as a young hard-working student being watched over by the head of asset management at the firm, Jacob Reynolds.
This prefect position taught me loads of skills which include organisation, compassion through my mental health first aid training and always looking out for others in the society.
Using communication and customer service skills, I was acting as support for the running of wedding ceremonies. Leading bar and food service for significant events up to 120 people and running an independent restaurant. I have completed my RBH training up to Sept 2023.
