Poachers, fishermen, illegal loggers and unauthorized visitors use boats to enter restricted areas and navigate to remote parts. Hydro-Guard's novel insight is simple: the waterways are the highway initial to almost all illegal exploitation in water-dominated parks. Detect the boat at the entrance of no-go zones, and you stop everything that follows. We envision a world where illegal boat activity in protected ecosystems cannot go unnoticed. We use AI-powered microphones to make boat activity visible in real time, enabling rangers to act with greater precision and impact. No replacement of the ranger, just an extra set of ears where nature needs it the most. Currently running our first pilot in Biesbosch National Park in collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer, and scaling to parks across Europe by early 2027.
