Alex De Broe is co-founder and CEO of XANT. Alex has over 20 years of experience in the renewable-energy sector and micro-grid business and 10 years of consulting and management expertise. At XANT, Alex has defined the company go-to-market strategy and successfully built the XANT brand recognition on a global scale. The challenging environment of a new venture have honed Alex's skills of business strategy insight, stakeholder management and team empowerment. Prior to starting XANT in 2012, Alex worked at ALSTOM Wind Power in Barcelona (now part of GE) as Team Leader and at 3E (Brussels) as Senior Consultant. Alex De Broe obtained the degree of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 1995 and a master’s in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Wisconsin, U.S.A.). Alex also holds an Executive-MBA degree from the Vlerick School of Business (Belgium). Alex is fluent in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
