• Manage the Retail and Commercial Operation at Manchester Airport throughout the trading day, week and season. • Ensures a continual focus on driving guest experience, retail standards, operational efficiency and product ranging throughout the retail partners within the airport. • Responsible for developing and maintaining a strong relationship with retail partners at local and regional levels to influence commercial operations to maximise revenues and maintain operational standards, whilst ensuring we minimise the cost of operating on airport to maximise profitability. • Assist in the development of the 5-year business plan, feeding back Operational performance at unit level. • Manage the logistics service with a focus on improved customer service to all users, capacity and contingency planning, with a view on reducing costs. • Work with asset teams to ensure fit for purpose facilities are provided throughout the logistics process from consolidation centre to terminal. • Work with wider group retail operations teams to develop consistent and effective processes ensuring they are fit for purpose and are maintained through regular stakeholder reviews. • Work with retailers to maintain compliance with H&S, fire safety and security within their operations. Work with the airport H&S Team on communal back of house operational areas to minimise risk to retail and F&B staff. • Support the distribution to retail and commercial partners of all emergency policy and procedures and other aspects of risk, according to MAG plans and procedures. • Work with wider group retail operations teams to develop a consistent plan to improve sustainability from retail and commercial activities. • Development and implementation of retail and commercial trading plans at a local level • Identification and implementation of revenue generating and cost saving initiatives

I have also assisted other stores when asked to do soby my area manager. • Payroll management, reviewing resource management indicators and flexing the store to align with sales trends. • Conduct disciplinary meetings & consulting with HR to ensure all procedures are followed correctly whilst implementing policies and procedures to manage absence and sickness. • Responsible for the talent development of our Rising Stars through succession planning those who aspire to progress into managerial roles in the business. • Conduct Team Leader & Associate mid and end of year reviews to help them with any knowledge gaps and overall development. • Responsible for putting training plans in place to develop all Associates and Team Leaders and manage performance of those not delivering vs their job role/level. • Manage and confidently lead visits with senior leaders by showcasing the store through our commercial decision-making and floor layout whilst priding ourselves on our fantastic culture we promote in our store. • Responsible for the full store roster, this includes the management team, despatch and shopfloor Associates for both TK Maxx & Homesense. • Maintain a strong relationship with Loss Prevention to ensure the safety of all associates and customers. • SHRINK lead for the store and network with other managers and Loss Prevention across the district to minimise the uninsured losses to the business and feedback to senior leaders.

Floor Manager • Responsible for a floor that takes £13m. • Lead a team of over 50 associates and review them at mid and end of year and report to my line managers. • Walk the shop floor in the morning to complete all operational and health & safety checks prior to trading & take on any feedback given. • Support the training and develop members of the team looking to progress into managerial roles. • Ensuring praise and feedback is given to all associates regularly to develop confidence and ability. • Thinking commercially to ensure store layout is correct for time of year to manage inventory levels. Delivery Manager • Lead a smaller team who have detailed knowledge on processing all types of stock safely and are security protected prior to being displayed on the shop floor. • Responsible for off loading all deliveries safely into the processing room. • Building relationships with Processing Centres to help with forecasting numbers of pallets expected and communicate back to management in store to plan. • Ensure all merchandise protection policies are met to the highest standard to maximise sales. • Escalating any delivery issues to my Area Manager and Loss Prevention Director
