As Operational Business Analyst, I provided analysis and reporting on a variety of projects for the Board and Exec Committees. Reponsibilities included but not limited to project managing and oversight of: Development and deployment of patches and fixes for internal systems. Roll out, testing and training for deployment of new administration systems. Updating and maintaining procedural literature. Analysis of corrections to Planholder investments due to system or administrative errors. Consulting and testing developments to client documentation produced by the Online Portal. General technical assistance and product knowledge for a variety of products and regulations. Whilst at Utmost I also spent 3 years on the Charitee Comittee raising funds for local charities.
Starting at Administrator level before being promoted to Senior Admin at the end of my first 6 months with the Company. Responsibilities included: Investigation of Client/Broker complaints and drafting of responses in line with the regulations set out by various jurisdictional bodies (GFSC as well as regulators in Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland etc) and specific product literature. Analysis and calculation of impact of issues raised through the complaints process. Liaising and assisting the Complaints Team Manager in order to assist with Channel Island Financial Ombudsman investigations to resolve excalated complaints. Trend identification and analysis of potential improvements to client experience. Considerations of risk exposure and liability in regards to raised complaints.
Sabbatical to work on some personal projects and development. Some brief temp contracts during this period.
Preparation and serving food at a local Thai family business. This involved both the shop as well as public and private events.
This was a voluntary role at the not for profit St Johns School, Thabom. During my time I assisted the development of spoken and written English. I also coached the school football team.
