Thesis title: "Adhesion Influences and Detection Methods of Release Agent on CFRP Surfaces". Duties include: - Analysis of impact of release agents on adhesion of CFRP parts via tensile testing - Characterization of surface release agents (IR, UV/Vis spectroscopy) - Defining critical concentration levels of surface release agent according to standards outlined by BMW
Evaluation of surface pre-treatments on adhesion of CFRP components Duties include: - Weekly process validation for the adhesion of carbon fiber composite rooftops on the BMW M3 - Support in quality analysis investigations for various process-relevant influences in the adhesion of car body materials (carbon fiber composites, thermoplastics, galvanized metals)
