This job’s primary role is to coordinate between field and office operations to ensure project success to meet crew needs, track progress of projects, and ensure that the project materials, subcontracts, etc are scheduled and prepared for the work to be completed efficiently. Responsibilities include overseeing the assigned projects, complete and track material submittals, complete all preconstruction documentation (submittals, subcontracts etc). Complete and track RFI’s, field orders, work change directives, change orders etc. Create schedules, overall project and weekly 2 week look a head’s, manage personnel, communicate with clients, overcome challenges, adhere to company policies and standards, ensure regulations are being followed. Address and resolve day to day issues, coordinate ordering and delivering of material to job sites, dispatch subcontractors and equipment as needed, plan and monitor day to day running of field operations. Oversee customer support process and enhance customer satisfaction, manage relationships/ agreements with external partners/vendors. Evaluate overall project performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics (daily logs, material inventory). Ensure the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations. Tracking company assts use, and whereabouts always. Quality tracking and review with crews, owners, and engineers. Track changes in work, downtime, and any other extras on the projects. Keep and maintain project as-builts and records. Provide projects updates to project team (estimator, engineer, site super, VP, president). Act as fill in when superintendents are out of town. Actively work with the safety director to implement and provide training to new hires. Bid/ quote work for review by director of engineering.
