Assurance (Wealth & Asset Management) Division Tracked and verified client investments, prepared financial statements for reporting, and contributed to team meetings throughout the audit process. Prepared Financial Statement Tie-Outs, Limited Partner Register, and Lead Schedules. Identified, documented, and reported changes in investments made by the client on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Utilised the online learning tool to develop my skills in financial analysis, transformative leadership, and data integration. Consistently attended and contributed to team and client meetings.
Working at the More London office, I gained valuable insight into R&F, various cases worked on, and the opportunities available at PwC. The week consisted of a variety of activities including networking sessions, mock interviews, employability development sessions, skill-based tasks, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) presentation. Working with a coursenmate, we developed an RFP where we pitched PwC's innovative technologies and services to assist a company facing financial challenges, answering client questions and receiving constructive feedback. I also developed a good understanding of the Corporate Finance M&A division at PwC by scheduling meetings with various colleagues who were very kind to share knowledge on M&A at PwC and how they got to their current position.
I gained insight into Black Heritage in Business, Assurance, Consulting, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Sustainability. I enjoyed learning about Strategy and Transactions from colleagues who shared valuable insight into their respective career paths and how market conditions affect the volumes and types of deals completed. Completing a Sustainability Case Study educated me about the various ways EY has implemented and encouraged sustainability throughout the company, and the responsibility we have in taking care of our environment. I also gained knowledge about Assurance and how the integration of technology has changed Auditing, and how it is utilised in Business and Tech consulting.
