I’m excited to share an update on my role! In addition to my EMEA-wide HRBP responsibilities for the Packs brands (Eastpak, JanSport, and Kipling), I now also support the Belgium-based teams across retail, wholesale, concessions, office services, and IT for all VF brands: The North Face, Vans, Packs, Altra, and Timberland covering 6 stores, Packs Concession business in Belgium and 20+ doors.and total of additional 50 HCs.
In this newly created role, I was responsible for building trusted partnerships with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence, supporting a global population through a dual reporting line (Global and Market Italy). My scope covered two key areas: 1. Global HR Business Partnering - Led core HR processes including performance management, talent assessment, salary reviews, and development planning - Supported international onboarding programs, including planning, induction sessions, and store visits - Collaborated on recruitment activities to ensure alignment with global talent strategies 2. Local HR Operations (Italy) - Managed onboarding and induction programs for new hires - Conducted HR data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making - Monitored HR budgets and maintained organizational charts - Acted as the primary point of contact for employee relations and day-to-day HR support
In this role, I act as a strategic change agent for the Packs organization (Eastpak, Kipling, JanSport) across the EMEA region supporting over 250 HCs. By partnering with business leaders and central HR Centers of Expertise, I support the sustainable growth of the organization in line with each brand’s long-term vision and strategic objectives. I am responsible for aligning HR processes and projects within a complex, multi-brand, regional/global matrix structure that serves the following areas: - EMEA Headquarters: Marketing, Digital Commerce, Product, Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, Field Sales (Wholesale), DTC & International Sales - EMEA Country Teams: Local Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Sales - DTC Belgium: Concession, Retail, and Wholesale channels for all VF Belgium-based brands (The North Face, Vans, Packs, Altra & Timberland) Key areas of responsibility include: - Global HR Processes & Programs: Delivering core HR initiatives to the Packs population - Organizational Analysis: Headcount, talent positioning, and workforce insights - Employee Experience: Job description revamp, onboarding, candidate packs, engagement surveys - Performance & Talent Management: Goal setting, talent reviews, year-end evaluations, training & development activities - Compensation & Benefits: Salary reviews, bonuses, promotions, and raises with a strong focus on internal and gender equity - Employee Relations: Building trust and fostering a collaborative work environment
As part of my Bachelor's studies, I completed a 6-month internship in the Public Relations Department at Pistoia Town Hall. Key contributions included: - Conducted a comprehensive SWOT analysis and developed a strategic communication plan, including a detailed calendar, budget proposal, media strategy, and evaluation methods to strengthen public relations efforts - Researched and created materials to enhance the Town Hall’s public image, presented findings in a formal report, and proposed a concept for a redesigned municipal website
As part of my responsibilities under the Smith College scholarship, I supported the Italian Language and Culture faculty in enhancing student engagement by: - Creating a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment - Designing and facilitating interactive activities to strengthen Italian language skills and cultural understanding
