  • System Engineer at MAS (Medical Assurance Society)
    Nov 2014 - Present · 11 yrs 8 mos

Medical Assurance Society is a vibrant reality in the variegated market of financial institutions. Working as a System Engineer in this dynamic company, allows me to develop hands on experience with Microsoft technology from Premise to Cloud. That involves fully support the Windows as a Service lifecycle, adoption of SCCM, GPO domain management, SSO Integration, Office 365, Exchange and much more of the long list of services available up and down Azure. Networking and Security are main focuses for my role and as consequence, am experienced operating and supporting Cisco, Hp, F5 network and security appliances. From the perspective of Device Management, am deeply involved with the adoption of Intune and the MAM/MDM framework in Azure to better support the transition to a cloud first environment. Project work is still a big component of my days, and share an equal part with core Infrastructure work.

  • Director and Owner at Sat Sistemi Ltd.
    Sep 2009 - Sep 2012 · 3 yrs 1 mo

As a young entrepreneur I started my firm with more dreams than money. Still my goal has been clear since the very beginning: to provide outstanding niche IT services, at the right price, for the right customers. We provided reliable and dynamic assistance through the whole life cycle of our tailored solutions. This involved a preliminary infrastructure assessment, collecting and understanding business requirements, research, plan and quote robust IT solutions, implementation and ongoing support. Business continuity and flexibility were prominent in our designs and encountered the interest of our growing customer base. From a technical point of view was mainly dealing with network management (data link to routing). This included planning and deployment of wired and wireless networks in Small and Medium environments, troubleshooting and hardening of existing network systems in multi vendor environments. Role also fostered a consolidation of my system administration skills both in Microsoft and Apple environments. Technology Involved: • Microsoft Windows Server and SBS 2003 • Microsoft Windows Server and SBS 2008 • Microsoft Windows Exchange 2007 • Microsoft Office (2003, 2007, 2010) and Visio (2007, 2010) • Cisco ASA firewall (5505/5510) • Cisco Routers and Switches (Series 800, 1800, 2800, 3550, 3750, 2950, 2960) • Cisco Wireless Controllers (2500) and Cisco Aironet AP (1000, 1100, 1130AG) • • ZyXel Firewalls Zywall (USG 50/100/200) • Fortigate Firewall (Series 60/200) • Vmware ESX/ESXI (version 3.5/4) • Apple MacOs (10.5/10.6/10.7) • Qnap Storage (412, 419,420,659+,869 Pro) This experience forced me to think outside the box and to better identify priorities. As a side effect of the considerable stress of meeting my initial goal against the complex financial situation of the country, developed strategies to deal with working under pressure and on tight deadlines while keeping the quality of my efforts to the highest professional standards.
