With extensive background as a Sound Supervisor, Senior Sound Designer, Audio Consultant and Product Manager going back over 25 years in broadcasting and audio technology, I hold the position of Senior Audio Engineer at Harman where I contribute to develop cutting edge technologies for automotive sound infotainment. During my previous professional roles I worked at developing tools for Next-Generation Audio technologies and codecs such as MPEG-H and xHE-AAC. I have been responsible for developing audio technologies with special regard to loudness management, Immersive Audio upmixing and Next-Generation Audio authoring. I am the inventor and developer of the APTO core algorithm, the state-of-the-art file-based and real-time next-generation loudness adaptation technology. I have assisted in sales strategies and regularly attend standards organizations. I have pioneered loudness normalisation in broadcasting and have written several paper published by the Audio Engineering Society. I actively contributed to develop new audio industry standards by participating to several working groups within SMPTE, AES and EBU. In regard to my Sound Design and Mixing skills, my leadership qualities combined with my expertise in all the technical aspects of dubbing and audio post-production, mean I am able to develop those around me as part of a drive for excellence. I have experience in producing audio mixes of television programmes, documentaries, sport and promotional content in various languages including English, German, Arabic, Italian, Dutch, French, Turkish.
