Leading Comau North America activities related to Digital-IoT Products • Built and mentored a new development team focused on IIoT, Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence; • Designed predictive analytics solutions, for performance/ quality/maintenance optimization applied to Automation-Manufacturing environment (mostly for automotive market); • Developed and deployed cloud SaaS solutions (on MS Azure and AWS) and customized application deployed on customer premises; • Implemented various business improvement initiatives related to collaborations with hi-tech companies/start-ups partnerships and universities.
euRobotics is a Brussels-based international non-profit association for all stakeholders in European robotics. It was founded in September 2012 with the aim of strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in robotics, and ensuring industrial leadership of manufacturers, providers, and end-users of robotics technology-based systems and services. Elected in the BoD in Industry at ERF 2023 (Odense).
• Developed a utility for rover terrain negotiation analysis for the ESA project SFR (Sample Fetching Rover); • Successfully designed and developed a MMI (Man Machine Interface) for the STEPS (Systems and Technologies for Space Exploration) rover demonstrator; • Internal research and development activities on mobile and anthropomorphic robots related to autonomous navigation (A*, D*), online path planning algorithms, sensors fusion for SLAM (laser scanner, ultrasound, TOF camera, etc.) and user feedback/control (accelerometers, haptic gloves, etc.); Technologies: C++, Qt library, control and connection of sensors and actuators, Can-bus, OpenGL, mobile robots, Vision Based path/trajectory planning.
