As an Automation Manager - Project Management - and with my background in automation and logistics, I manage implementation of complex automation systems for various industries, such as grocery, retail, fashion, and e-commerce. I manage projects with values up to 200M€, ensuring cost and timing control, and effective communication with customers, internal teams, and suppliers. I also support business development by defining possible auromation solutions and participating in tenders and RFQs. I have a Master in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where I specialized in infrastructure and transport. I have developed strong skills in project management, conflict management and risk assessments which I apply to deliver complex project. I am passionate about innovation and technology, and I enjoy learning new tools and methods to improve my know-how. I am also fluent in English and Italian
-Project management during all the phases of the project contract signature, final engineering, installation, testing and go-live for complex automation systems (conveyors, shuttles, miniload system, sorter picking stations) up to 200M€ value. Main Project Managed: adidas in Mantova - Italy and luxury eyeglasses producer in Venice - Maintenance management: definition and setup of Resident Teams, planning and monitoring preventive, predictive and incident base maintenance for large automation equipment, monitoring availability and incidents with SCADA tools, managing budget for Resident Teams and spare parts usage. -Risk assessment and evaluation of possible critical points with definition of mitigation plan in order to achieve the project milestones -Budget controlling during the project phases with proposal of saving and challenging the stakeholders involved. -Front end in the discussions with customers, internal teams and suppliers with focus to keep all the stakeholders on the milestones and manage eventual conflict between the stakeholders involved -Support business development for new opportunities including automation. Definition of customer requirements, contact with automation suppliers, definition of the more suitable technology, benchmarks and contract signature.
- Development of full package offer for customers’ operating in several vertical markets (mainly grocery, retail, fashion, e-commerce, production, electronics). -Definition, based on the customer's needs, of the most suitable automated system/s for the project (Multishuttle, HBW, AGVs, Palletization, Sorter, AutoStore, Conveyors). - Key contact during the phases of the project between customer, internal teams and suppliers. - Data analysis, projects designing, system sizing, quotation & costing, proposal document drafting and editing for projects up to EURO 40M value.
