Associate Director (VP), Relationship Manager – Structured Trade Finance Met and exceeded income and returns targets by structuring and executing tailor-made financing and related services for global commodity clients: - Structured credit facilities modeled around specific receivables books, flows, and storage locations. - Managed exposure in excess of €2bln. PNL responsibility for from a lending and coverage perspective; coordinating with M&A, project finance, and markets teams where appropriate. - Experience with syndication processes and club deals where the bank has active roles terms, knowledge of LMA standard terms and clauses. Ongoing risk monitoring from both a credit and compliance/regulatory perspective: - Overseeing analysts and associates in the preparation of credit and KYC packages for existing and new relationships; applying the knowledge gained on trading and logistics to smooth the approval processes, effectively explaining to internal stakeholders the different profile and strategic positioning of each client. - Coordinating the day-to-day issuance of cash loans and trade finance instruments by mid and back- office, liaising with risk management to obtain ad-hoc approvals where necessary. Coaching and mentoring the desk’s analysts and associates.
LNG Trader and Portfolio Manager Physical LNG trading: - Met and exceeded individual and desk targets by pricing, originating, and closing several commercial agreements for physical LNG both in the short and medium-term up to 2/3 years forward. Financial trading and portfolio management: - Identified, tracked, and actively managed LNG related exposures in the oil, gas – both prompt and curve – and FX markets, thus complying with the desk’s risk limits/mandates. - Monetized both the intrinsic and extrinsic value embedded into LNG contracts.
