R&D Engineer with competency in designing plastic and metal parts. I am a very passionate individual who enjoys being challenged and working within a team. I have good problem solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
As a body design engineer I am responsible for: • Design of shell parts to be ready for mass production • Engineer parts simultaneously with supplier • Confirm the build quality on prototype vehicle
During the Graduate Program I was responsible for: • Creation of the design of plastic parts for a new vehicle • 3D modelling and drawings of shell parts • Testing newly adopted design solutions
I developed my master's thesis at the University of Toronto. I conducted a research on the design and analysis of a novel shock absorber for crash attenuation using magneto-rheological fluid. • Developed a new active MR shock absorber for crash attenuation; • Conducted FE analysis using ANSYS platform to determine the magnetic circuit requirements; • Conducted FE analysis using LS-DYNA platform to determine the MRSA’s energy absorption capabilities in different conditions; • Designed and tested a functional prototype to validate the mathematical model for the MR fluid flow, and therefore the selected design.
