My role consisted in helping Design Engineers with the modification in of existing parts as well as analyze the effectiveness of design changes for future projects. Iterative design consisted in post processing CFD and correlate with experimental data, carried out in house.
Worked alongside Professor of 3rd year course Design of Mechanical Components. The focus of this Mechanical Engineering class was to apply the basics of mechanical construction to simulation as well as real life examples. The students were involved in a semester long group project which consisted in FEM, machine shop production, and experimental testing. I held a weekly office hour to aid students with homework, exam prep, and project.
