I am a biomedical engineer with 15 years experience in academic research and education on engineering methods/technologies applied to the investigation of lung physiology and specifically to mechanical ventilation of critical care and surgical patients. Since 2019 I joined Hamilton Medical to help transforming the advancements in the research field into successful tools available in commercial clinical ventilators. I am a signal/image processing specialist, with a markedly interdisciplinary profile, and first hand consolidated experience in end-to-end development of prototypes and research projects with/for health professionals (devising, ethical care applications, data acquisition, signal processing, data/statistical analysis, communication of results).
