About

Ing. Alessandro Bandera, P.E. ________________________________________ Dear Sir or Madam, I am Alessandro Bandera, a Professional Mechanical Engineer, graduated at the Politecnico di Milano in 1988 (Old System – 5 years program + Thesis in Aerospace Aeroelasticity), with a dissertation on the dynamic instability of helicopter rotor blades (Agusta A129 project). I am registered with the "Order of Professional Engineers of Milan," registration number 16,500 (since 1990). Present activities: I currently volunteer with SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) in the fields of Automotive Powertrain and Aerospace Landing Gear systems, developing skills in Mechanical Design , Thermodynamics, NVH, and Vehicle Dynamics. Additionally, I collaborate with the Politecnico of Milano, both with the Mechanical Department (Systems Mechanics ) for Vehicle Dynamics and the Aerospace Department for Fluid Mechanics and Jet Engines. I regularly use C++for engineering analysis. Professional background: Mechanical Engineer with long–standing experience and a strong passion for vehicle dynamics, powertrain engineering, and motorsport technologies. I’m particularly interested in tire mechanics (Pacejka), Vehicle Dynamic Stability(Pacejka,Gillespie,Milliken, brake-by-wire systems, differential control strategies, and fluid dynamics applied to automotive systems. I enjoy studying high–performance vehicles, both classic muscle cars and modern race-car engineering solutions. I’m continuously expanding my knowledge in handling, traction, load transfer, suspension behavior, and advanced simulation methods. Always open to connecting with professionals and enthusiasts in Motorsport, Automotive R&D, and Racing Engineering. Alessandro Bandera
