International Relations and Journalism graduate currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Security at Sciences Po Paris. Interested in violent extremism, transnational organized crime, terrorism and migration, with a particular focus on Europe and the North Africa region. While not currently in a newsroom, I still carry a journalist’s curiosity, creativity, a commitment to rigor, and, hopefully, an eye for stories that matter.
The United Nations Youth Delegate (UNYD) Programme, coordinated by the United Nations Department of Social and Economic Affairs, seeks to enhance youth participation in international diplomacy by integrating young representatives into their countries’ official delegations to advocate on youth-related issues and policies.
- Provided assistance and general support to the programmatic units of IOM Morocco and supporting the development of internal and external initiatives - Carried out research and desk reviews on migration-related matters - Conducted basic quality control reviews of project documents, reports, and communication materials - Verified and supported data entry on the PRIMA-for-All platform, including regular monitoring and evaluation, project development, and reporting activities - Prepared briefing notes, letters, and emails related to donors, thematic areas, mission updates, and governmental exchanges - Compiled meeting minutes and assisting with administrative follow-up for visits, conferences, and other activities - Assisted the mission in its donor engagement and private sector engagement efforts.
Interned with the Education, Gender, and Environment team, where I supported one of the policy analysts in her day-to-day work. My tasks included: - Attending OECD meetings where the Mexican Delegation participates. - Drafting reports on the meetings attended. - Assisting in the preparation of the Delegation's diplomatic cables and meeting briefing documents.
Joined the regional office of EsRadio in Galicia as part of the team of its morning show. - Wrote scripts for news and feature segments. - Anchored news bulletins and reported on cultural topics. - Edited chronicles news for national broadcast. - Produced interviews, from research to final edits. - Learned the program’s operations to the point where I was entrusted to lead it independently for two weeks during the Christmas period, working alongside only the station director and the audio technician.
Interned as part of the team at "A vivir que son dos días", a show with an audience of 2,067,000 listeners and considered the most-listened-to weekend show in Spain. - Wrote articles, interviews, and scripts. - Produced audio reports from concept development and scriptwriting to recording and final editing. - Created and coordinated weekly segments for the program. - Managed the show's social media platforms. - Assisted in live broadcasting.
