EVENT STAGING MANAGER Position Description Position Objective The Event Staging Manager (ESM) is responsible for the organisation and provision of event staging services and staff resources to meet the needs of their individual venues and their clients. The service provided will be highly professional with a view to timeliness, appropriate conduct and effective cost management of human resources and services to ensure the profitability of the SC activities in the venue. Roles and Responsibilities •Ensure the efficient running of event staging services within the venue •Build and maintain relationship with venue and clients to ensure successful client relations and smooth running of all events •Meet with venue staff and clients to arrange and plan upcoming functions to their specifications and to establish, confirm or revise their requirements •Educate and advise clients and venue staff alike on the most appropriate audiovisual equipment / Styling and Design, and the necessary crew to best meet their presentation needs and budget •Check and/or delegate staff to check rooms including set up of audio visual and style and design equipment prior to function commencement •Provide equipment for venue training programs and meetings to the same standard as with clients
